My Sweetheart and me
After schooling, I moved to Ahmedabad for under graduation to be followed by a post graduation in Computer Science from Rollwala Computer Center, Gujarat University.
While at RCC, I enjoyed the golden years of my life. I came across a few wonderful long lasting friends. Though I am in touch with most of them (thanx to the Internet), I do miss them very dearly.
I completed my internship with Space Applications Center, Ahmedabad. This was my first unforgotable real life practical experience - my first job.
I moved to Pune, to join CDAC (Center for Development of Advanced Computing) to nurture my career in Distributed Computing and embedded systems. During my stay at Pune, I enjoyed the Pune university campus, the monsoon at Lonavla ghaats, the scenic Mahabaleshwar, the platuae of Panchgani and what not, not to name the MG Road, the Westend .... , Sarovar and The Place. I do miss Pune and my friends at Pune.
Mean while, I got married to my sweet heart, Narinder.
Ugly politics at CDAC made me sick. My divorce to CDAC, took me to Bangalore, the silicon valley of India, to join Novell, India (Pvt) Ltd. Bangalore was not the place I had expected to live my life in. I left Bangalore within a year - my shortest stay at any city.
I moved to the US, to the Silicon Valley. My tenure with Allsoft Technologies made me learn all the basics of the Valley.
My Alliance with Sun Microsystems has been very enjoyable and rewarding. Sun provided me with very valuable professional experience. at Sun, I have been able to blend my experience in Distributed Computing and small devices very well. It has been a wonderful experience going thru the rough roller coaster ride of current economy.
Meanwhile, Narinder and I have been blessed with a very cute & loving daughter, Simran and a playful, little boy Jashan - my source energy & inspiration.
